The Liturgy and Influenza
Amidst the Flu season, we offer the following suggestions:
Holy Communion: Priests, Deacons and Eucharistic Minister should be especially encourage to wash their hands before Mass begins.
Greeting of Peace: The faithful should use good judgment and limit contact with others when sick.
Mass Attendance: If one is sick, there is no obligation to attend Mass, personal prayer and reflection is encouraged.
